Dreams Do Come True

Howdy,

Do you ever take a moment to reflect on your dreams and goals?  You know the dreams and goals that are hidden deep inside your mind the ones that you don’t talk about anymore as time has passed for such a long time and you are grown up and older now.  I have learned that all of these special dreams I believe (seeds planted by GOD) are inside of us because GOD loves us and has made each of us unique with a master plan of skills, opportunities and gifts.  GOD who created the heaven and earth and holds the stars in the sky wants us to achieve our deepest dreams and goals and he wants us to live our lives in peace and harmony helping one another.  We are created to dream, stretch our minds, body’s, and never give up!  Trust GOD and have faith that GOD will open doors that no man can shut. 

Never settle in life always keep persevering forward and try to stay balanced in our mind, body and spirit most importantly stay in the word of GOD.  We must let go like the song says “Jesus take the wheel” as it is much easier in life to sit in the passenger seat and let GOD lead us the direction he wants for each of us.  Please understand we can only sit for so long and then GOD gives us a nudge to move forward, step out, try something new and have courage and faith.  Sometimes things happen in our lives that we just do  not understand a job loss, death, divorce, a life threatening accident, one of our children has a serious illness or is addicted to a horrible drug, stuff we can not ever begin to understand.  These things happen in the world we live in today but GOD has promised he will  hold our right hand if we stay in faith with GOD and GOD will take the evil that has fallen on us and make good.  I can honestly say after the semi truck accident that I can see how GOD has taken evil and made good as I am a much bolder person and I feel honored to share my life and what Jesus Christ dying on the cross has done for me personally.  I am able to pray directly to GOD and I know GOD has answered my prayers and I am grateful for the prayers he did not answer looking back in my life so it swings both directions as GOD will do what is best for his children as we would for our own children. 

My husband and I watched a really good movie last night a “DREAMS DO COME TRUE” I highly suggest you watch it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3bu9dGRQvJY named the WORLDS FASTEST INDIAN.  What I really liked about this movie was the person in the movie never gave up, he never stopped believing in his dream even when he was old and his motorcycle was old and at the end of the movie he accomplished his dream.  When Dreams Do Come True you can bet the person worked very  hard to make it happen and GOD had a little something to do with it as we all need to help one another in this world!

What Gifts Do Natural Animal Trainers Have?

Did you ever think about this subject in detail before?  Animals can not speak our language yet we see how they can learn our language and we can quickly see how they can not thus the dog whisperer for red zone dogs and humans trying to learn what to do for their beloved pet.  For example a dog can learn to sit, stay, wait, down etc but first the owner has to be taught how to teach the dog and be consistent, fair, honest each time, most of the behavior training is taught to the human first and then to the dog.  Now let’s look at the other side of the coin for this subject.  Animals have a strong sixth sense and their sense of people, places, danger is dead on accurate in most cases before we their human leader even start to notice a problem our dogs or equine has alerted us to a problem.   Animals have strong emotional intelligence (sixth sense) working for them and some people have this gift too, I believe the ones that do not have it can work on exercising this brain muscle.  Yes I said brain muscle as this is all connected to the most important organ we humans have our brains!  I believe our sixth sense that feeling something is not right is extremely important things we can work on to change our life and be more productive in the world helping ourselves and others.

My Mammoth donkey can hear someone walking in the woods at least one minute before I do as he has mammoth donkey ears built to help him hear from GOD as donkeys started out living in the desert and they needed to hear to stay alive from predators.  My dog Jewel is the pack leader of all dogs, not me and my husband as we stay in the leadership role with her.  She has the ability to read people and other dogs in just seconds as to good, bad or dangerous people.  I have learned that she is always right and I should listen to her as her emotional intelligence is strong and accurate.  Clear boundaries, consistent training, fair, respectful, having a plan, loving, clear leadership and safety is what animals want from their human owners as they want to stay in the neutral part of their brains just like we do.  Being honest and fair with animals speeds up the training process and it is my opinion these tools help us navigate life and can be used with our human interactions too.  Just think about this for a moment would it not be simply wonderful if every time we interacted with people around us; family, boss, co-workers, medical world, government employees, and businesses they were honest and consistent every time and provided us with clear and concise transparent communication?

Did You Know Pat Parelli Started The American Mule Association?

Howdy,

It’s really cold outside in the Pacific Northwest back to the high twenties at night and thirties during the day burr.  I continue to work diligently to get my health back so I can ride again and enjoy my life to the maximum potential.  My weeks consist of physical therapy (building core muscles, strength training), acupuncture and chiropractic care twice a week and once a week a therapeutic massage.  Thank you Jesus for all of the human angels GOD has placed in my life to help me heal, get strong again and out of pain.

I pray you find the information I share to be informative and educational as most of this research took me years.  In fact I created the web site after being frustrated trying to find information in one place for donkeys seems a little information here and their but I saw the need to try to make one stop shopping for humans and their equine.

I have been a Parrelli  Savy club member since 2007 and it is my prayer I will heal enough to attend Parelli and become a certified Parelli equine specialist.  If you own a horse, donkey or mule please learn the seven games of parelli at the minimum and never ever leave a halter on - as Parelli will teach you how to teach the equine to CATCH you!

After thirty-two years away from equine no money available or time available for equine I was working in the business corporate world trying to find happiness and security I ended up loosing my job and was forced to retire early.  Naturally after a couple of years of retirement we purchased my mare (100% horse spoiled still with her mamma) at twenty months old in 2007.  Additionally we purchased Rio (nine month old mammoth donkey) and Rocket Man (mini donkey age thirteen) as donkeys go in twos!  You see my husband has no experience with horses in fact he wanted nothing to do with them but donkeys well they are much easier for the beginner.

I had much to read and learn and no one in my living area trains mules and donkeys.  My journey in training donkeys began as a huge challenge,  rewarding, and unique.  In fact every time we took our three equine out for a trail walk we were not riding as they were all too young people would stop their cars at the trail head and want a picture of Rio and Rocket Man as they could not believe that Rio was not a mule due to his mammoth donkey size.  Training donkeys and mules takes a Parelli  friendly game first and outstanding leadership for safety.  Training a donkey or mule takes a person who loves equine and has a great respect and a clear leadership (a plan) role established as donkeys can think all the time unlike the horse and they are very strong and flexible.  I highly suggest you become a savvy club member and learn to use the Parelli carrot stick study Parelli.  Rio can stand on three feet and reach out with his hind leg and tap Lily my horse to tell her to move over amazing to see. 

Training a Donkey or Mule is not easy it is a challenge!  My personality is built by GOD for challenges and it was a no brainer to study under Mr. & Mrs. Parelli as their natural training methods work with mules and donkeys.

Most people think donkeys are stubborn I politely disagree they are smart and they are not going to risk their life for anyone.  Donkeys are not going to run,  run and run scared as horses do when they think they are going to die.  Our home video surveillance camera caught Rio and me working in our driveway and still today I am amazed with this video. This is huge and took lot’s of time and patience and studying the Parelli’s home study program the best I could.

Yesterday when I turned Rio and Lily out into the arena I observed Rio pushing the mountain dew barrels with his nose,  I know he is thinking about how Lily plays the circling game and jumps the barrels.  I know it is only a matter of time before he learns this trick!  Heck he can open his barn door no problem if not locked and I did not teach him that he learned by visualization watching us open the door.  It is my opinion that Donkeys demand to be trained with the love, clear leadership and best respect and be careful when considering their moods in training move back to something the donkey has mastered and come back to the training he/she is avoiding another day.

I believe the best person to train a donkey or mule is the owner who is in a healthy  relationship with the equine, sending mules and donkeys off to a trainer does not work.  Donkeys and mules will work for the human they respect and admire, hard words I know but it is the truth. 

“Horses dream of being trained the way a donkeys demands to be trained.”  Donkeys are on Donkey time and they make the human slow down and live in the moment.  If you are the kind of trainer of a donkey or mule that gets obsessed with tasking, drilling etc.   Love, Leadership, Respect, Clear Boundaries, a plan,  works with donkeys and a few carrots every once in a while.  Teach the equine to accept the carrot with manners for example I have taught Lily to turn her head a way from me and then I will give her the carrot, no pushing into me or trying to intimidate me to get the treat.

Installing Anti-Virus (NEGATIVE THOUGHTS) Software Into Your Brain

First and most important pray to GOD in Jesus Christ name to help your mind stay positive and ask GOD for favor, blessings, health, wealth, and a positive mind.  The bible is still the best book to read it never goes out of style and every time I pick it up GOD points me to the verse I need.  I suggest getting  Joyce Meyer bible or the NIV bible as each important verse is written so we can understand the meaning.

I recently started back to my chiropractor of five years praying for help with the pain from the Semi-truck accident last April.  The first thing my chiropractor http://www.gaitlink.com said to me was “How was your relationship with GOD before the semi truck accident?”  Tears started running down my face as I worked to say OUTSTANDING  -  I think it would have been easier to die and go to heaven with Jesus than endure that pain, with GOD I had no doubt I would go home and be healed.”  My prayer immediately was for GOD to send the right doctors to heal me and give them the wisdom needed and give me the strength to endure the physical pain and go home to my husband, pets, family and friends.  Additionally I prayed GOD would release his angels in Jesus Christ name to protect me and my family two and four legs.

While I was in Harborview Critical Care trauma hospital my orthopedic surgeon who gave me the ability to walk by inserting the screws into my pelvis said “We can tell within twenty-four hours if a patient is a fighter or a whiner, you are a fighter!”  We must stay strong and never give up even when life seems to be at the end as nothing  is  over until GOD says it is over.

If you are a person who has no animals around you try to visit a friends animals or donate time at a shelter for animals, you will be amazed how good you will feel and it costs nothing other than your time.  Animals know how to live in the moment they are great teachers!  Our brain is the most important organ we have and we must put a negative anti-virus in our brains. Just like our computer has anti-virus we need to mentally add one for our brains.  Try to control your thoughts and do not let negativity stay in your mind put all negative thoughts and experiences in the trash just like you do with your computer.  It is my opinion our brain is just like a computer and we can learn how to strengthen the muscle in our brain by mentally controlling what we are thinking about each day. 

How To Program Your Mind To Be Positive:

1.  When you open your eyes in the morning thank GOD in Jesus Christ name for this new day and anything you can think of to be grateful for

2.  Write down five things you are grateful for and place them on the fridge or a mirror you see every day

3. Write down your goals for 2011 and a five-year plan and place these goals where you can see them  - Every day counts as we do not know when our time is up

4.  Donate your time to help another living person, animal or business get connected with others – If you are physically limited use the internet to connect

5.  Be flexible if your goals change pray about the change and walk the direction GOD sends you in peace and harmony

6.  Expect miracles, goodness, mercy, favor, blessings, increase, love, peace and health from GOD

7.  Live in the moment – Let go of the past and do not run too far ahead of GOD as each day is precious and a gift from GOD

8.  Forgive people immediately after being offended

9.  When you look in the mirror each day love yourself say good things to yourself

10.  Never give up, keep pushing forward everything changes this is just a season

11. Treat everyone how you want to be treated

12.  Forgive yourself when you make mistakes in life and do not repeat that mistake

13.  Enjoy the gifts GOD has placed in your life

14. Take at least twenty minutes a day to pray and marinate with GOD

15.  Lighten up life is short and we are not in control GOD is – Smile and laugh more!

16.  If you are in chronic pain keep pushing forward to find the medication to give you some relief.  Suffering from pain robs each of us from joy, love, and life keep pushing to find a way to not have pain and still have a quality life.

17. Thank GOD for all of the good things in your life and the blessings GOD is sending your way

19. Walk in love, don’t judge people, be jealous of them as each of us has special gifts designated by GOD for all of his children
