Howdy,
Last Friday while I was working out at the gym I read a story of a woman being verbally abused by a bunch of kids while trying to work on a bus as a bus monitor, no more she has quit her job. A blog that was started to give her a vacation has generated over half a million dollars for her. Wow!!!! The power of the internet is amazing as it only takes a few seconds to get involved today, seconds to sign a petition, seconds to change a life for a human or animal. The power of the internet, when people step up and become human angels for all living things. The power of the internet is amazing!
Last week I saw tens of thousands of people unite to stop the violence of Team Donkey roping against forty five donkeys in Texas and guess what in days this event was stopped. I have had many e-mails saying wow the event stopped before I had a chance to sign the petition.
Will you spread the word via FB, WordPress one more time to try to help an Asian Elephant named “MALI”? Just takes a few seconds to send an e-mail and spread the news via your social networking circle of friends and family.
Mali, a 38 year-old Asian Elephant lives alone at the Manila Zoo in the Philippines.
She is the only captive elephant in the Philippines.
Born in Sri Lanka in 1974, Mali was only 3-years-old when she was captured in the wild and abducted from her family and herd.
She was shipped to the Manila Zoo and has lived her life alone in severe confinement.
A new medical report by world-renowned veterinarian Dr. Mel Richardson, who recently examined Mali, reveals that she is suffering from potentially fatal foot problems and profound loneliness and psychological stress. She is unable to receive proper veterinary care at the Manila Zoo and is in desperate need of intervention.
The only way to ensure her physical and psychological welfare is to send her immediately to an elephant sanctuary where she will be able to roam, browse, bathe, commune with other elephants and receive appropriate healthcare.

Thanks for letting me camp out in your blog for a little while today. I had a great time and tried to leave my campsite as good as when I arrived. I’ll be back!
