Howdy,
Look how GOD sprinkled these bright purple wild lupins all over the mountain, GOD is the world’s best gardener. GOD is amazing! Hurricane Ridge is the jewel of the Olympic National Park and it’s in our back yard, a place where you are pretty much guaranteed to see the most beautiful mountains, plants and deer on each blessed visit.
What time of the year is the best for a sunny visit? August or early September, if you’re looking for snow fun the winter is the best time of the year

Hurricane Ridge is the place we took our kids inner tubing down the deep snowy mountain and for lot’s of day hikes with a picnic lunch, GOD is amazing to make such beauty. Before the car accident my husband and I snow shoe’d Hurricane ridge many times, Hurricane Ridge is a place I have been in love with since I was a little girl.
GOD bless you and your family two and four-legged!

Did you travel to Hurricane Ridge when you lived in the Pacific Northwest? How hot is it in Arizona now? We are in the 80′s in Washington today the warmth is a refreshing change from rain.

Actually my son lived in Kent, WA which is why I was in that area frequently but never made it to Hurricane Ridge. Seeing your photos makes me wish I had. We’re over 100 today and for the next week at least. Wish I was in Washington. Your weather sounds perfect! Be well and stay blessed.

Brought bnack memories. I also haven’t been there for years. It is a beautiful spot. Last time I was there I got a picture of a buck in velvet walking by a mountain goat.

Hi! I’m so glad you got to visit Hurricane Ridge while the meadow wildflowers were at their peak. I went up there as well. It’s like a paradise with those lovely smelling flowers and the deer and the beautiful scenery. God bless!
