Well, I’m glad you asked. I added Beatrice, a very protective Jenny to the story “The Caltrop Ranch” I just posted. My friend in WV has a Jenny in her barnyard t protect the chickens and goats from Bobcats and coyotes. She once told me she found a coyote that had been kicked to death from her. If I knew more about them I’d include one in a story of a gold prospector I want to write. I hate writing about stuff I’m not real familier with. I’m always afraid of saying something stupid.

Interesting stuff for sure, perhaps you can get more details from your friend to share in your story writing. Please keep me update. I have herd some really sad stories when people put a donkey in with baby livestock as donkeys grab the neck and play too rough. It takes the right donkey to fit in and common sense.

Yes indeed we have lot’s of wild life on the farm video cameras catch many of the wild animals.
