A donkey bitten by a hyena is checked by a veterinarian as the owner calms the animal at The Donkey Sanctuary, a clinic near Ethiopia’s capital, Addis Ababa, in 2005. Boris Heger/AP – Copied from the article at Ethiopia’s over worked donkeys
Here is a wonderful audio explaining how The Donkey Sanctuary helps these precious donkeys for free. The article was sent to me by Donna at Donna and Diablo Blog, thank you Donna!
GOD bless you and your family two and four-legged!

On my last visit to Ethiopia I got very close the war zone where Ethiopia and Eritrea were at logger heads with each other. The most reliable form of transport in that rugged inhospitable area is the donkey. It pained me to see how the army overloaded them with arms and ammunition.

Hi Herman,
Thank you for reading my blog and taking a moment to comment and contribute sharing with all. Yes it is really difficult for me to see what happens to donkeys all over the world they are truly the most abused of all the equine in our entire world. The story provided a blessing from GOD as so many just die and never get medical attention to have free mobile medical attention these are human angeles. Hope all is well in your life.
