Friends of the Donkey Whisperer Farm
Yesterday was a big day as I graduated from Physical Therapy for the third time!
Three long years of struggling to get well after the semi truck accident select GOD created a miracle for me I have accomplished a huge milestone. I would like to add one more thing my miracle did not come fast with GOD it took three long years to get the pain under control, three long years of deep prayer and faith and I am physically disabled the rest of my life. I will do the best I can each and every day and never look back as GOD created eyes in the front of my head to look forward I can no longer mourn for my body to move the way it did before.
Nothing is the same and yet GOD made sure my family stayed the same, I am forever grateful to my husband for helping me keep the farm. We will be moving into a rambler asap as the two-story home is not a good physical fit for me as I age, the screws in my pelvis cause great pain and suffering when it rains is really cold outside and no doubt I have lot’s of arthritis building but I will do everything I can to keep my body as healthy and strong as I can and my motto is ” Never Give up as nothing stays the same forever nothing.”
I plan on trying to ride my horse and Mammoth donkey again this summer, thank you Jesus! Thank you to all of you who have prayed for me to get well NEVER FORGET GOD IS AMAZING nothing is impossible with Jesus Christ.
Along this journey of three years I went to three different physical therapists and each helped me in a different way.
The first helped me to get out of the wheel chair, move to the walker and cane.
The second helped me with rib and back spasms but was not able to stop the chronic incredible suffering I endured for almost three years.
The third physical therapist Takashi Misuda, PT, C/NDT, Ultimate Performance was different than the other two as he has advanced certification in neurological rehabilitation. He has over 12 years of experience in treating adults with musculoskeletal and neurological disorders. He has treated patients in various clinical settings, including acute care hospitals, home health, skilled nursing facilities, and outpatient clinics. After 5 years of intensive training, he became a certified instructor in Neuro-Developmental Treatment (NDT) for adults with stroke, becoming one of 20 instructors nationwide and one of three instructors in Washington state. My physical therapist worked in combination with my physiatrist who created a topical cream cocktail (made at a local compound lab) that helps with the nerve pain and back spasms to strengthen my ribs, core and back as I can do more than without this medicine, I can move forward in life. I will never ever be the same as the three large screws in my pelvis have created a permanent injury for the rest of my life but I am moving towards my number one goal “GETTING MY LIFE BACK BEFORE THE SEMI-TRUCK ACCIDENT.”

The most important human in my life is my husband and best friend Scott he has stood by my side, encouraged me when I could not get up and fight any more due to pain. My husband is truly a GOD sent angel created just for me and I am forever grateful to have him in my life. I love you Scott!
GOD bless you and your family two and four-legged!
