Friends of the Donkey Whisperer Farm
If this is your first time opening my blog I would like to say thank you and welcome, please feel free to use the search engine for any of your questions or concerns regarding, donkeys, horses and mules. A huge thank you to all of my long time followers as you have encouraged me in my deepest and darkest hours and I am forever grateful. Blogging is such a wonderful way for me to get to escape from my world and meet people all over the world I truly love blogging and will continue to do this for many, many years to come as it is most difficult for me to travel. Perhaps one day GOD will open the door and I will be able to afford to travel and meet some of my closest blogging and Parelli friends living in France, Norway, Australia, Africa and New Zealand.
When I took these photo’s this morning the donkey boys and Miss Lily my horse were in their barns eating out of their slow feeders.
In 2010 I was in a life threatening car accident leaving me with three large screws in my pelvis select GOD created a miracle for me to read and catch up on my life. I have not been able to garden since the accident one of my most favorite things to do besides ride my horse and mammoth donkey. The last three years my husband and me have been forced to pay a landscaping crew to care for my flowers as well I have a large garden, “one friend said your yard looks like a park.”
This summer I was finally able to do a little work in my garden and get my hands dirty oh how wonderful this felt as us country women love to get our hands in the dirt. Last week we had some heavy rain in fact we broke records in western Washington and now we are back to the 80′s again. Thank you Jesus for this wonderful dry summer my body loves the dry warm weather.
Before the accident I was a master gardener as I was passionate about gardening, I enjoyed creating the spectacular array of textures and colors you will see in the photos below. Next year we will be selling our home/farm as I must move into a rambler the two-story home is not working for me since the accident. Additionally I need flat land so I can walk more I use an A.T.V. to navigate around the farm and it will be better for me to walk more as I age. Keep following my blog to see what GOD does next as GOD is amazing and he truly gives us double for our troubles I am living proof of this.
Let’s take a virtual walk around the Donkey Whisperer Farm’s flower garden
GOD bless you and your family two and four-legged!
