Deep Blue Crescent Lake Oh How I Have Missed You

“As a young girl I can remember going camping with my family to Sol Duc Hot Springs in the Olympic National Park as soon as we started circling around Crescent Lake I would get excited as the road feels like you are almost in the lake as you circle around it and the bonus we were close to the hot springs.  Soon it would be time to swim in the pool, eat camping food, ride my bike and get in the hot pools to warm up and do it all over again, oh the life of a kid.”

Here are a few of our photos from last weekend when Western Washington State was in the 70′s and 80′s a wonderful surprise from GOD.

When Life Is Just Too Hard

Seems the most difficult times are amongst all of us living in this fallen world but this I know for sure, “When I was in my darkest place, most pain not sure what the future held Jesus was holding my right hand. Jesus was helping me stay strong keep reading Psalms over and over and speaking the word of JESUS CHRIST out loud, Never Give Up as GOD has a plan, GOD’s plan is always better than my plan.”

When I could no longer hold my bible due to weakness and pain (8 broken ribs and more), I would listen to my iPod with Max McLean reading Psalms and John over and over.  This helped me so very much to fill my head with the word of GOD. No room in my head for satins lies.

Several times when the pain was the most unbearable I felt like I was being punished by GOD, that he did not care about me and I just did not understand why I had to endure such horrific amounts of pain for so long.  The  absolute worst part was not being able to sleep more than four to five hours per night.  Prisoners of WAR understand what sleep deprivation can do to the human body, mind and soul.  I lost many long time friends of over thirty years during this most difficult time in our life as trauma burns away all the non-essential things in our life including people. 

April 13, 2013 was the three-year anniversary of the semi-truck accident and I can finally say the pain is manageable.  Select GOD created a miracle for me to read more. I am still in physical therapy two days a week and massage therapy one day a week but slowly and surely I am getting stronger.  The most difficult part of rehabilitation of injuries like mine are the back slides, I work so very hard in physical therapy and then boom can’t do much of anything for a couple of months due to the insane pain and rib, back and hip spasms. Winter is the most difficult as well the arthritis is building fast in my body and the cold is extremely painful I wear snow pants, long johns and layers of clothing from October into April living in the Pacific Northwest. The mind is the battlefield and I think we need to keep listening, reading and speaking the word until things change even if the only thing that changes is how we think our brain is connected to our joy and peace.

Nothing stays the same forever nothing except GOD’s Love!

I pray GOD releases his angels from Jesus Christ to surround you with light, love, healing and hope, I pray GOD binds the two of you if you are married to one another in a way so strong a way that you have never felt before.

I pray these angels from Jesus Christ make you a Warrior For Jesus Christ no matter what the final outcome is with your health, finances, family, job (trauma), I pray you can be a witness to the sweet grace, peace and hope that only GOD in Jesus Christ name can give us in our darkest times.

We believe in miracles because I am a miracle and I know GOD can create a miracle for you too!
Never give up as GOD will never give up on you.  Perhaps tomorrow will be your big day a breaking of sunshine is coming never give up!

Update On My Health, Farm Life, Marriage and Car Insurance Dirty Little Tricks

Thank you for reading my blog, taking a moment to comment and share posts you are a huge part of the change our world needs.  You can be a human angel to a human, animal or our most precious environment this thing we humans call earth.  Our world needs more human angels!

Update on my health:

Spring has officially arrived in the Pacific Northwest we hit 60 degrees yesterday and oh my how this makes me feel better. The surgically inserted (3 long stainless steel screws) in my pelvis do not like cold!  I’m officially back to Physical therapy two days a week working with our third physical therapist.  I am very grateful to my physiatrist as she is the team leader of my rehabilitation.  This new physical therapist has advanced certification in neurological rehabilitation, a gait physical therapist.   “I see lot’s of stroke victims.”  Tears...  The screws in my pelvis along with the eight deformed ribs have left me with a physical disability one I would not wish on my worst enemy.  I continue to pray for GOD to take all this pain away.  Physical Therapy is never easy but I can say if your doctor recommends physical therapy do your home work and find the most educated therapist for the area you need rehabilitation.  Never give up!

2013 is the year my husband and me celebrated our twentieth year living together and our thirteenth year being legally married.  Nothing tests a marriage or any relationship like trauma and I am happy to report our marriage is stronger due to this trauma.  I love my husband so very much he is my best friend! My body turns fifty-three and reacts like I am 90, I still have a way to go on rehabilitation.  We live our life grateful always thanking GOD in Jesus Christ precious name for all of our blessings as things could have been way worse for us.

2013 milestones

My horse Miss Lily turns eight, Rio our Mammoth Donkey turns seven and Rocket Man our mini donkey is a stout nineteen years old.  We continue to pray one day I can trail ride again but for now we are grateful to have been able to keep our little hobby farm. All the animals are a bit to fat again so it’s diet time for all of them including the doggies and one kitty the other kitty has a high metabolism. The photo above is our rescue kitty Jasmine she just has the fat gene going on and her most favorite thing to do is eat and lay around.

People ask me all the time, Does Your Horse Need To Be Ridden?

No she does not, she is just fine being a horse.  As you know I study Parelli and she is consistently being schooled on the ground with manners and rules for balance and boundaries.

I suffer from numbness in my ankles, feet and horrific rib pain and back pain with spasms, I can tell you the hips are directly connected to the knees and feet lot’s of nerves running down the leg.  The damp/cold causes the stainless steel screws in my pelvis to make my hips ache and back ache and yet I know GOD has me here for a reason. GOD has me in the palm of his hand.

Sadly motor vehicle accidents are extremely difficult to navigate here are some tips on what to do after a car accident.  Surviving a motor vehicle accident involving a semi truck can be deadly, injuries are more intense.  Take a look at Accidents involving semi trucks. 

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR A CAR ACCIDENT VICTIM:

If you are riding as a passenger in a motor vehicle and you survive serious injuries you will need to find an experienced insurance attorney, who works in the town your accident was in do not pause.  If you have no health insurance it will be very difficult to get the medical attention you need as most car insurance corporations will not pay the bills until the legal matter is settled this can take three to six years. Insurance agencies are in the business to make money, NOT TO DO THE MORALE RIGHT thing for their client or the passenger never forget this.  

If you think going to trial will be easy think again….  Insurance agencies have created laws that will not authorize you the victim to tell the jury how much insurance the driver of the vehicle who hurt you has. This is all the game insurance corporations play to ensure the victim of the car accident does not receive a fair settlement and the insurance corporation will not have to pay full policy limits.  The cost of hiring an attorney is huge, the cost of not hiring an attorney is even more. Insurance corporations have an open check book for legal lawyers from Washington DC to the State and town you were injured in.

If We Get Quiet and Pray GOD Will Tell Us What Is Next In Life

Howdy,

My 50th birthday was going to be in Maui, Hawaii or at a minimum some place dry and warm as I am a planner, I  had been thinking about this big milestone birthday since I turned forty.  Sadly just weeks before my 50th birthday I found myself fighting for my life in Harborview hospital, Seattle, WA intensive care.   My 50th birthday sucked and was horrific I will never ever forget my 50th birthday.

Just weeks before the trauma hit with the semi truck I was planning a huge surprise 50th birthday party for my husband.   I had a fun party space with old cars, motorcycles, Elvis stuff, music, catering planned out and I was going to have a brand new Harley Davidson motorcycle sitting in the party spot with his name on it.  I had called many of our life time friends and family and it was to be a huge deal.  Just a few weeks before the accident GOD placed a heavy weight on my heart to not do the party cancel it, I have learned to listen to the nudges of Jesus so I cancelled the party.  Received all my money back and took my husband to pick out his Harley many months before his big 50th b-day, it was indeed the right thing to do as GOD knew what was coming and I did not.  I took my husband to get his Harley just weeks before the semi truck accident and three months before his birthday, chilling how GOD works. GOD is amazing.

Interesting thing; when I think back to this event I would pray and GOD placed a heavy burden of pain and suffering over my body, “I felt like my husband was weeping, crying and in great sadness.”  I thought something horrific was going to happen within his family as his parents are aging, this sixth sense I was feeling was all about me.   I did not know it was me that would be the cause of my husbands tears, loss and stress but this I can share I knew something horrific was going to happen and I knew he would need a great escape.  A Harley was something he had wanted since he was a young boy just like I had wanted a horse since I was a young girl.  Since my husband made my dreams come true I wanted to make his dreams come true.

What if I was too busy to not pray and get quiet every day? GOD could have never ever given me the sixth sense I needed to take care of my husband.  Remember to always take time for GOD, make time for GOD as he knows everything that is best for his children.  GOD is amazing.

Iron Sharpens Iron

Wow I have heard this statement over and over again; I guess this is what helps people feel better saying such a thing when trauma hits our sweet loved ones.  Another one I hear over and over is “GOD only gives you as much as you can take, you must be really strong.”

GOD loves his children and he authorizes pain and suffering to his children for a short time and then GOD in Jesus Christ name brings justice for his children.  When GOD steps in everything changes and people will have no doubt it was GOD as no man can do what GOD can do.

No human can really understands life as GOD is in control not us. 

Prayer:

Some trust in chariots, and some in horses; but I remember the name of the Lord my GOD. Pslam 20:7 (NKJV)

I trust in, rely on, and am confident in You, O Lord, I say, You are my GOD.  My times are in your hands.  Psalm 31:14-15

The fear (False Evidence Appearing Real) of man brings a snare, but whoever leans on, trusts in, and puts his confidence in the Lord is safe and set on high.  Proverbs 29:25

The Lord is my Rock, my Fortress, and my Deliverer; my GOD, my keen and firm Strength in Whom I trust and take refuge, my Shield and the Horn of my salvation, my High Tower.  I call upon the Lord, Who is to be praised; so shall I be saved from my enemies.  Psalm 18:2-3

The Trauma Is Gone – Now What?

What happens after trauma settles and things calm down?

We try to keep our life the way it was before the trauma hit as well this is much more comfortable for most of us humans than trying something new.  All the while GOD is giving us a little nudge to be brave and step into our new life; the key is being flexible sometimes letting go of our homes, career, dreams and education to pursue a completely new life, a life GOD has created just for us full of dreams, presents and surprises way beyond our human brains ability.  GOD is able to do miracles, healing, create new jobs, save a marriage, heal a family.   Just like nature has seasons I believe life has seasons nothing stays the same.  I have learned to Trust GOD for all seasons of life as GOD is the great I am, the beginning and the end he knows what is best for his children.

We must remember to not stay in the past look at what GOD makes new every day, remember GOD placed our eyes facing ahead not behind us.  Hang on to the great memories and live in the moment, stay grateful, have a good attitude and never ever fall into the trap that this is it GOD can do no more.

Today may be your day, keep trusting GOD to help you and your family as he Loves you.

Moment of Impact

Howdy,

Life has a way of changing even when we don’t want it to, even when we work so very hard to keep it in balance and harmony, I always thought our actions created a direct result of the life we are living as adults.  I am here to share this is not true, sometimes life (trauma) steps in and everything we knew to be true is forever changed without our actions having any factor.  Dictionary calls this the victim, a victim is just in the wrong place at the right time and they suffer the consequences of another persons actions or natural trauma (flooding, fire, hurricane, tornado) for the rest of their life.

I did not fall to my knees for Jesus until I was in my early forties as I had suffered such horrific trauma from life that I just did not believe in GOD. Then in my early forties I was given the news of a spinal cord tumor and at this point I gave my life, soul and heart to Jesus.  The world we live in is indeed not heaven it is a fallen world I do my best to stay in deep prayer with Jesus and believe things will not only get better but turn out to be GOD’s plan of taking what evil has tried to destroy me and move me up to the next level in life.

Frustrating for sure to work so very  hard to make our life be a certain way and then in a “Moment Of Impact” everything changes and there is just no time for planning or changing our actions to stop the consequences spinning into motion of another.  Thinking about this can destroy a human life as dreams, plans, love, relationships, family, everything we know to be true is forever changed at the “Moment of Impact” it is indeed a tragedy to be a victim and suffer from trauma at the hands of another human beings actions. 

The bible says forgiveness is the most important of all for us humans as if we don’t forgive we are consumed with rage, revenge and hatred that will destroy our fragile perfect human body and I believe GOD weeps for his children.  I believe GOD holds out his mercy and love trying to comfort his children and let them know not all is lost forever, I believe GOD whisperers a new dream into our fragile human minds.

And whenever I stand praying, if I have anything against anyone, I forgive him and let it drop (leave it, let it go), in order that my Father in heaven who is in heaven may forgive me my (own), failings and shortcomings and let them drop.  But if I do not forgive, neither will my Father in heaven forgive my failings and shortcomings.  MARK 11:25-26

Putting one’s life back together after the “Moment of Impact” can be difficult to say the least and when the person is trying so very hard to put their life together their partner (husband or wife) is indeed running a marathon of their own trying to adapt to the change that has been forced upon them.  Sometimes marriages can withstand the “Moment of Impact” and sometimes they cannot.  Why?  Prayer, perseverance, love, patience, the ability to adapt to the transformation created from the “Moment of Impact” leaves the scars internally and physically deeply intertwined into ones soul.

Like a hot fire the “Moment of Impact” burns and destroys the human and animal who has survived the trauma.  From the outside looking in the human and animal looks great but internally they are forever scorched and changed. Only GOD in Jesus Christ precious name can protect and renew what the evil one has stolen. 

I pray GOD restores everything that has been stolen from you and me and gives us double for our troubles, I pray GOD releases his angels on the blood of Jesus Christ to protect his children and bring love, forgiveness, and laughter back to his children’s minds.

GOD is amazing and he is looking for people who are not afraid to say they believe in Jesus Christ.

Life Is Not Fair

Howdy,

Just read this article from Stacy Westfall after she had to say goodbye to another beautiful horse so sad here is the link to her story “Life Is Not Fair.”  Sending the prayer of peace and joy to Stacy and her family during this most difficult time as she just lost another horse five months ago. 

Everyone has a story of why life is not fair, the serenity prayer helps.  The key to happiness and enjoying our life is to be flexible, mourn, grieve and move on do not let the negativity and sorrows of loss consume and destroy your life. 

Perhaps you are wondering why or how I can say I am a follower of Jesus Christ?  Life is just too hard to do on my own, I can’t take one step without Jesus I am just not smart enough to navigate all the negativity, pain and suffering of this world without Jesus and believing the healing words of the bible.    

Me riding my horse Lily right before the semi truck accident 2010, after praying for a horse thirty four years, most people would have just given up on this dream.  Here is a fact; I had to lose a very important career of twenty three years in order to get the door to open to my child dream of owning my horse again and training.  A dream I had as a kid playing and working with the horses and animals. 

GOD provided a bonus thru all the pain and suffering of career loss, identity loss, financial loss, GOD provided me with my best friend Scott and my husband and GOD added Donkeys into my life!  Today my husband and I own the Donkey Whisperer Farm.  GOD is amazing!

Enjoy every moment; hour and day as you will never ever be in this exact place again our lives are indeed fragile and precious.  Never ever give up as it is written in the bible we are the head and not the tale in this world we are children of Jesus Christ we have royal blood in our veins.  Never give up!
