Waiting On GOD

Friends of the Donkey Whisperer Farm,

The last couple of weeks have been beautiful weather here in the Pacific Northwest and I have found myself dreaming of the ocean just one more time.  The cold from the ocean and damp is not fun for me anymore as the long screws in my pelvis do not like the damp and cold but still my soul and body ache to smell the beach so here is one of my photos.  I take photos of things I can later write and dwell in I pray my essence has in some way touched your mind, body and soul to bring you to your knees for Jesus.

Attempting to live in this fast paced world without Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior well this would be impossible for me, you see for whatever reasons I have had many horrific things happen in my life that could have left me cursing Jesus and living another life.  Once I accepted Jesus into my life as my Lord and Savior he came to live inside my human body and help me make good decisions.

When I leave this crippled body and move to heaven I will ask GOD why so many tears, why was my life so difficult and painful?  But for now I am content to let my life unfold like a flower does in the spring as GOD takes care of his children he is the Alfa and Omega the beginning and end of all things.

I am not comfortable talking about the most difficult of things I have faced in my life as well I believe GOD gave us two eyes to look ahead not look back.

This I know for sure; Satin is a liar and he puts this little thing in our minds that says What are you going to do? Hurry time is running out make a choice of what you are going to do!  

GOD says “WAIT ON ME I AM WORKING ON THIS TO GIVE YOU FAVOR” the key is to wait on GOD, pray, and wait for the peace only Jesus Christ can give us humans.

Waiting on GOD is always the most difficult thing to do but if we wait, stand tall in our faith in Jesus Christ GOD will not only show up he will show off.  The bible states GOD will serve our blessings up in front of our enemies another words GOD loves to show what only GOD can do!

GOD is looking for people who will slow down in life sit down for a moment and talk to GOD like a friend would talk to a friend.

How to pray to GOD?

GOD is not looking for anything complicated he just wants us to say “LORD Jesus Christ come into my life I make you my Lord and Savior, forgive me of my sins for I repent of all of them.  Please don’t think you are the only person to sin each one of is a sinner.  Call our 700 Club Prayer Center 1-800-823-6053 I promise these people will help you as they have helped me so very many times.

If you can find a good bible based church that believes Jesus Christ died on the cross for our sins than go to church as I promise you will feel better.  If you can’t find a good church listen to preachers on t.v. or the internet that inspire you to believe in Jesus Christ.

Prayers for Waiting On GOD In His Timing Not Ours

Guide me in Your truth and faithfulness and teach me, for You are the GOD of my salvation; for You

You only and altogether do I wait Expectantly All Day Long.  Pslam 25:5

I trusted in, relied on, and was confident in You, O Lord; I said, You are my GOD.

My times are in your hands.  Pslam 31:14-15

My eyes wait for You looking, watching and expecting and You give me

food in due season.

 You open your hand and satisfy me with favor. Pslam 145: 15-16

If it seems slow, do not despair, for these

things will surely come to pass.

Just be patient!

I highly suggest picking up Joyce Meyers little purple pocket-book The Secret Power of Speaking GOD’s Word. All the prayers came from this book.  One more thing I would like to share pray to GOD in Jesus Christ name as we only serve one GOD and this is precious Jesus Christ.

Donkey Hooves

Howdy,

If you have never seen a donkey hoof you may be surprised I know I was, the donkey hoof is indeed unique.  The donkey hoof is more upright and can indent a bit before getting to the end of the hoof .    It is imperative you have an outstanding trimmer to follow the guide lines of triming your donkey(s) hooves.  Never try to make a donkey hoof look like a horse as this is a donkey not a horse.

In the wild the donkey is walking fifteen to twenty miles a day but in the modern-day farm he/she is not.  Select Pete Ramey for more information on trimming a donkey hoof.

Training the donkey to stand for the farrier (hoof trimmer) is the job of the owner, most farriers will not touch a donkey that has not been trained.

What Age Is My Equine Full Grown?

Howdy,

Driving down the road this week I noted  two brand new foals playing on a horse farm close to our farm they were enjoying the sunshine in the Pacific Northwest and life.  Made me think about how important it is for people to understand just because their tall does not mean they are full-grown.   

Several times people have pulled into oure farm and said “oh what a cute baby donkey you have”, too funny!  Rocket Man is our 18 year old mini donkey

Ten Things Donkeys Want You To Know

Howdy,

1.   Most important – Please don’t beat me or punish me for being slow and not moving fast enough unlike the horse I can think all the time

2.  I enjoy being talked to, brushed and loved on when I am sure you will not hurt me, slip me a small bite of a carrot now and then just not too much I am an easy keeper

3.  Hey I learn different from the horse I am a visual learner.  I learn by watching from an honor horse, mule or another honor donkey or you doing something with me standing and watching at a safe distance.  Please walk away from me with scary new things and let me come to you on my time I am scared of new things and need you to slow down.

4. I prefer clean water, warm water in the winter time and low sugar hay as I gain weight fast I was created to live in the desert. 

5. I am really smart please do not leave me all alone, give me a companion I prefer a donkey but will take a horse or mule

6. I need my hooves trimmed just like the horse and I really like to eat on old dead tree stumps

7. I need my teeth taken care of just like the horse

8. Please feed me at least three small meals a day when I am on a dry pasture and never feed me alfalfa hay

9. I like to play with toys, orange traffic cone, feed bowl or jolly ball I am smart and get bored easy just like you

10.  I am special GOD gave me a cross on my back and I am the only animal in the bible GOD gave the ability to talk

The Coalition to Ban Horse Drawn Carriages, of which IDA is a member, reports that there have been nine adverse incidents involving carriage horses that have resulted in vehicular accidents, injury to horses or passengers, or in one case, the death of a carriage horse. All of these have occurred since July 2011, spanning a period of just nine months, averaging out to about one incident per month. Most incidents occur when a horse “spooks,” a situation in which a horse suddenly becomes frightened and takes flight, dragging the carriage behind him. In a noisy, chaotic environment like New York City, things that can spook a horse are a constant reality. There are also horses who collapse or become entangled in carriages and harnesses. Sometimes they collapse for no apparent reason, like Charlie, who collapsed and died on the street in October. His death is still unexplained. A noisy, congested city is no place for horse-drawn carriages. These horses suffer day-in and day-out, from pulling carriages in all manner of weather extremes, to their dark and lonely nights spent in the barren warehouses where they return at the end of their nine hour days. By law, they can work seven days a week.
