When Life Is Just Too Hard

Seems the most difficult times are amongst all of us living in this fallen world but this I know for sure, “When I was in my darkest place, most pain not sure what the future held Jesus was holding my right hand. Jesus was helping me stay strong keep reading Psalms over and over and speaking the word of JESUS CHRIST out loud, Never Give Up as GOD has a plan, GOD’s plan is always better than my plan.”

When I could no longer hold my bible due to weakness and pain (8 broken ribs and more), I would listen to my iPod with Max McLean reading Psalms and John over and over.  This helped me so very much to fill my head with the word of GOD. No room in my head for satins lies.

Several times when the pain was the most unbearable I felt like I was being punished by GOD, that he did not care about me and I just did not understand why I had to endure such horrific amounts of pain for so long.  The  absolute worst part was not being able to sleep more than four to five hours per night.  Prisoners of WAR understand what sleep deprivation can do to the human body, mind and soul.  I lost many long time friends of over thirty years during this most difficult time in our life as trauma burns away all the non-essential things in our life including people. 

April 13, 2013 was the three-year anniversary of the semi-truck accident and I can finally say the pain is manageable.  Select GOD created a miracle for me to read more. I am still in physical therapy two days a week and massage therapy one day a week but slowly and surely I am getting stronger.  The most difficult part of rehabilitation of injuries like mine are the back slides, I work so very hard in physical therapy and then boom can’t do much of anything for a couple of months due to the insane pain and rib, back and hip spasms. Winter is the most difficult as well the arthritis is building fast in my body and the cold is extremely painful I wear snow pants, long johns and layers of clothing from October into April living in the Pacific Northwest. The mind is the battlefield and I think we need to keep listening, reading and speaking the word until things change even if the only thing that changes is how we think our brain is connected to our joy and peace.

Nothing stays the same forever nothing except GOD’s Love!

I pray GOD releases his angels from Jesus Christ to surround you with light, love, healing and hope, I pray GOD binds the two of you if you are married to one another in a way so strong a way that you have never felt before.

I pray these angels from Jesus Christ make you a Warrior For Jesus Christ no matter what the final outcome is with your health, finances, family, job (trauma), I pray you can be a witness to the sweet grace, peace and hope that only GOD in Jesus Christ name can give us in our darkest times.

We believe in miracles because I am a miracle and I know GOD can create a miracle for you too!
Never give up as GOD will never give up on you.  Perhaps tomorrow will be your big day a breaking of sunshine is coming never give up!

disturbed; and do not permit yourselves to be fearful and intimidated and
cowardly and  unsettled.  John 14:27

Remember FEAR is False Evidence Appearing Real – Satin whispers fear into
our ears but GOD screams the truth of peace, hope and eternal life.

Warning Leaving A Halter On A Horse, Donkey or Mule Can Cause Death Or Self-Mutilation

Howdy,

The photo above is of me & Lily taken in the summer of 2009, truly one of my favorite photos a wonderful memory.

Did you know leaving the halter on is dangerous and can be deadly? My horse and donkeys are very athletic they can take their back hooves and itch their face.

Important considerations

*  The halter could get stuck on their hooves, fence or other objects.

* Strangulation can occur when they get the halter stuck on something and fight to get it off

* The halter can grow into the head of the equine (horse, donkey, mule) I have personally seen this and it is abuse

* Dirty itchy halter causes the equine to scratch and work to get it off it’s not natural (think  how you would want to be treated)

Please learn how to teach your equine (horse, donkey or mule) To Catch You!

When interacting with your equine try to make this a time to connect bring a couple of pieces of green apple with you or a carrott  to build a relationship of fair and safe leadership.  Equine work best in training programs that do not require the equine to stay in the prisoner role.  Yes, I said prisoner role, old school training techniques use fear to train equine and this is not a partnership.  Donkeys cannot be trained this way they require natural training with fair, balanced and an honest trainer.  Horses dream of being trained the way donkeys demand to be trained with dignity and respect.

The joy you will receive when changing your training methodology is enormous and your frustration will vanish.  People say “treats make my equine nip” I say “Nope, use this as an opportunity to train” watch your timing let the equine turn their head away and then give them a reward takes just a few training sessions for them to learn how to politely accept a treat.  Creativity is the answer you can do it!

Study Parelli if you don’t know how to play the friendly game and the catching game as they can teach you how to teach your equine to catch you. Bonus your membership is free for one month.  On line videos, magazine and Parelli connect, everyone is studying under the Parelli’s very positive equine support and training.  Working with equine is a dangerous sport you must be careful, have a plan, stay safe and not abuse the equine.  

All of my equine come up to us every time we call them just like my dogs.  The key is setting the animal up for success if each time you have time to be with your equine you are doing things to them that are not enjoyable why would they want to come up?  Treat your equine the way you would want to be treated if you were living your life as an equine and watch the blessings start flowing freely.

The first step in training any animal is taming!  The animal must trust that you will NOT abuse them or hurt them so try to think of it from their point of view and remember awareness is the first step in change.  We subscribe to The Brayer a journal of the American Donkey and Mule Society magazine.  Take a look this is a lovely way to learn more about donkeys and mules!

Friends of the Donkey Whisperer Farm Disability does not mean we can't be the person we were before the disability. I found this video and message to be inspirational and I pray it helps you too! As most of you know I became physically disabled while riding as a passenger when the driver ran a stop sign and a semi-truck full of cow manure smashed into the passenger door where I was sitting. My life is forever changed but I am still me! I do the best I can every day to live my life with purpose, passion and being grateful to Jesus Christ as I know GOD gave me a miracle by letting me live and walk.
