Thank You To All The Care Takers (Angels) In The World

Howdy,

Seems like some days, weeks, months and even years can feel like a severe cold winter hard to get moving hard to stay motivated just want a warm blanket. Equine (horse, donkey, mule), cats, dogs really help me out with these seasons.  When I go to their barn and feed them, clean up, care, rub, talk to them they are always grateful to see me I work very hard to stay in their neutral emotional place just enjoying every day the best I can.  My cats and dogs are always in the house with me and they play a very important role in my recovery.

I  feel the need to say Thank You to all the care takers in the world they are in a very difficult job and it is really hard to work and care for a sick person.  Without these angels GOD has placed in the world, life would be impossible for all the sick people and I know first hand how important it is to feel loved and have people take care of me and my farm when I was physically incapacitated after the semi truck hit me. 

Do you know a human angel caring for a sick or hurting person or animal? Please pause a moment and say a little prayer for this person and if you can give them a thank you note or a day off to go to the movies with a friend.  A simple thank you can refill their gas tank in life and recharge their battery with the end result making the world a better place. 

Are you a caretaker?  Please consider allocating time for yourself and love yourself as no human understands you like you do.  I understand how hard this is but just like we must be planning for retirement we should also be planning for a healthy happy life.  If we are constantly pouring our heart and soul out to someone who is incapable of sharing good things with us we start to burn out and our life becomes too much work and not enough fun.  I have learned that having fun is not an option it is a necessity as I feel better when I get to do fun things with people around me who love me and appreciate me.  Sometimes we just have to contract some work out and if we look at it this way “I’m creating jobs and helping feed a family” and I get some time off life is a little more easier.  Perhaps you have a financial difficulty at this time I know as we had a very hard time after the semi truck accident bills came that we had no plan for.  I bartered with my angel and massage therapist and it was a win-win situation perhaps this can help you or your loved one bartering works.

 

My progress:

I am happy to say that I am moving forward just completed Physical Therapy after going consistently for nine months very difficult, two times a week.  I go to acupuncture once a month for immune system and the doctor visits are quiet again, thank GOD.  Now the hard part comes for me to go on my own to the gym and just do it, no physical therapist pushing me harder to be the best I can be!  I have good days and bad days still but the bad days are getting fewer and the good days are getting longer and for this I am grateful to GOD. 

I just keep on pushing forward and believing that GOD can heal everything and take the pain, I am happy to report the pain is much better now, suffer towards the end of the day and at night but most mornings are good.  I am very grateful for all of my blessings and for each and every one of the people GOD has placed in my life to help me heal most importantly my husband Scott.  I am grateful to GOD for all the people who pray for a complete healing and remove the pain so I can get well to help others navigate life.   I make my husband Scott take off on his Harley and get away as much as possible he comes home very relaxed and recharged.  We have to find that one thing that recharges our batteries in life otherwise we just sit in neutral in life and time keeps on moving on.

Expect Miracles

Sampson we found him on pet finders http://www.petfinder.com/index.html three years ago after our special fateful black lab “Steelee”died.  We literally drove 308 miles each way to pick him up in Pullman, Washington believe me Sampson believes in miracles as this shelter was a very sad shelter.  All the dogs were outside in their dog igloos including this pup and it was 6 degrees during the day.  Sampson is Great Pyrenees/Akita and he is truly a big boy weighing in at 114 lbs, he runs the property to keep the coyotes out and protect his home.

 Expecting Miracles” – Keeping My Mind Locked In On Jesus Christ

Right after I wake in the morning I take a minute to thank GOD for the ability to walk, brush my teeth, keep my farm, have my husband, my husband’s job and healing my body.  If I need to repent of any sin I do this quickly in Jesus precious name Amen.  Next I take at least two minutes to visualize GOD providing miracles for every need we have in our life as GOD can do it! I ask GOD to give me the creativity and innovation needed to be a miracle to another living being, human or animal today sow a seed.  Our part is to beleive in GOD, have faith and ask GOD to help us and forgive our sins.  Sowing seeds is what were created to do -  helping others and doing the best job we can every day while we are living and breathing, sharing and loving on the people GOD has placed in our lives.  Expecting Miracles is a mind-set and you want to program your mind as a child of GOD in Jesus Christ name to be given favor, opportunity and miracles.  In the middle of the storm GOD has promised to give us peace if we will let all go to him give it a try.

 How To Program Your Mind To Be Positive Expect Miracles:

1.  When you open your eyes in the morning thank GOD in Jesus Christ name for this new day and anything you can think of to be grateful for

2.  Write down five things you are grateful for and place them on the fridge or a mirror you see every day

3. Write down your goals for 2011 and a five-year plan and place these goals where you can see them  - Every day counts as we do not know when our time is up

4.  Donate your time to help another living person, animal or business get connected with others – If you are physically limited use the internet to connect

5.  Be flexible if your goals change pray about the change and walk the direction GOD sends you in peace and harmony

6.  Expect miracles, goodness, mercy, favor, blessings, increase, love, peace and health from GOD

7.  Live in the moment – Let go of the past and do not run too far ahead of GOD as each day is precious and a gift from GOD

8.  Forgive people immediately after being offended and be honest 100% of the time

9.  When you look in the mirror each day love yourself say good things to yourself

10.  Never give up, keep pushing forward everything changes this is just a season

11. Treat everyone how you want to be treated

12.  Forgive yourself when you make mistakes in life and do not repeat that mistake and ask GOD to forgive you only need to ask once and it is written in the bible we are washed whiter than snow when becoming a christian

13.  Enjoy the gifts GOD has placed in your life

14. Take at least twenty minutes a day to pray and marinate with GOD

15.  Lighten up life is short and we are not in control GOD is – Smile and laugh more!

16.  If you are in chronic pain keep pushing forward to find the medication to give you some relief.  Suffering from pain robs each of us from joy, love, and life keep pushing to find a way to not have pain and still have a quality life.

17. Thank GOD for all of the good things in your life and the blessings GOD is sending your way

18.  Be humble

19. Walk in love, don’t judge people, be jealous of them as each of us has special gifts designated by GOD for all of his children

20. Live in peace within yourself and say NO to people when you feel it is best for you; time, values, religious belief, money etc. or try this way; let me pray on this and I will get back to you

Dreams Do Come True

Howdy,

Do you ever take a moment to reflect on your dreams and goals?  You know the dreams and goals that are hidden deep inside your mind the ones that you don’t talk about anymore as time has passed for such a long time and you are grown up and older now.  I have learned that all of these special dreams I believe (seeds planted by GOD) are inside of us because GOD loves us and has made each of us unique with a master plan of skills, opportunities and gifts.  GOD who created the heaven and earth and holds the stars in the sky wants us to achieve our deepest dreams and goals and he wants us to live our lives in peace and harmony helping one another.  We are created to dream, stretch our minds, body’s, and never give up!  Trust GOD and have faith that GOD will open doors that no man can shut. 

Never settle in life always keep persevering forward and try to stay balanced in our mind, body and spirit most importantly stay in the word of GOD.  We must let go like the song says “Jesus take the wheel” as it is much easier in life to sit in the passenger seat and let GOD lead us the direction he wants for each of us.  Please understand we can only sit for so long and then GOD gives us a nudge to move forward, step out, try something new and have courage and faith.  Sometimes things happen in our lives that we just do  not understand a job loss, death, divorce, a life threatening accident, one of our children has a serious illness or is addicted to a horrible drug, stuff we can not ever begin to understand.  These things happen in the world we live in today but GOD has promised he will  hold our right hand if we stay in faith with GOD and GOD will take the evil that has fallen on us and make good.  I can honestly say after the semi truck accident that I can see how GOD has taken evil and made good as I am a much bolder person and I feel honored to share my life and what Jesus Christ dying on the cross has done for me personally.  I am able to pray directly to GOD and I know GOD has answered my prayers and I am grateful for the prayers he did not answer looking back in my life so it swings both directions as GOD will do what is best for his children as we would for our own children. 

My husband and I watched a really good movie last night a “DREAMS DO COME TRUE” I highly suggest you watch it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3bu9dGRQvJY named the WORLDS FASTEST INDIAN.  What I really liked about this movie was the person in the movie never gave up, he never stopped believing in his dream even when he was old and his motorcycle was old and at the end of the movie he accomplished his dream.  When Dreams Do Come True you can bet the person worked very  hard to make it happen and GOD had a little something to do with it as we all need to help one another in this world!

More Than Just A Turkey Dinner A Time To Reflect On Our Life

Keep moving forward helping one another as this is what we were created to do move!  Just like the butterfly; some of us fly a little faster, some a little slower but all of us need one another to keep moving forward in life.  NEVER STOP MOVING FORWARD, NEVER SETTLE GOD wants the best for his children all of his children. 

Thanksgiving is a time to give great thankfulness in our hearts and minds to Jesus as GOD sends us exactly what we need to navigate in this thing called life.  Life is fragile and precious every day is a gift from GOD, “having our health is one of the best blessings GOD gives us every day always be grateful.”  If you have lost your health and you are working to get it back relax and believe, that GOD will provide a miracle “pray in Jesus Christ name for a miracle” as GOD provides miracles this is my testimony.  GOD sends us just the right best friend’s one who can forgive, love, and stand tall next to us in times of great trial and stress!  In these great trials the frail and ignorant friends are weeded away like a big wind storm we can see the strong trees standing and the weak knocked out; only the strong friends stay.  Praise GOD that he gives us friends who are not afraid to drop their life and help us when needed; I have a few very good friends who have done this for me and me for them.  I call these friends human angels GOD sent just for me.

 

As you prepare to reunite with your family and friends for Thanksgiving please pause and take the time to be grateful for all the blessings you have.  So many times we forget that we have the best blessing of all our health and no amount of money can fix a serious health problem only GOD can so remember if you have your health you are truly rich and there is nothing you can not accomplish.  Even with limited health people step up and make their life the best it can be as I walked thru Harborview Critical Care Hospital, Seattle, WA  this month for my last kidney test I saw so many people with serious health issues; no eye, both legs gone and wearing shorts and prosthetic leg, smiling and traveling great, burned faces on children, cancer victims and on and on.  If ever you start to feel sorry for yourself go to a trauma hospital I believe you will be grateful for your health really quickly.  Everyone is struggling with something it is the world we live in today but walking with GOD makes the road easier this is my perspective and my honest account of how I navigate in this thing called life.  I hope by sharing I have helped you and inspired you to reach out and help another human and any animals needing help as life is all about becoming a human angel and doing the best we can each day.

I am thankful to GOD for new pain and sleeping medication!  This medication helps remove pain as I have been suffering with severe pain for seven months with four and five hours of sleep per night.  This is not enough for me even when I am not tying to heal! I am now happy to report I get seven to eight  hours of sleep every night and relief from the pain.  GOD found a way to help me and for this I am grateful!  I am able to laugh again, smile and enjoy life and this is a precious gift from GOD for if you ever experience pain that will not go away in so many places of your body it begins to consume you and sleep deprivation destroys moods and relationships.  How wonderful it is to share good food, laughter, health and love for the meal called thanksgiving.

I have been trapped in my home since April 2010 unable to ride my equine unable to go to arenas and ride and take lessons and most importantly no trail riding with friends.  I have not been physically able to finish my horse and my Mammoth donkey but I am grateful for the time I had before the accident and I am proud of my accomplishment in training with my equine.  Lily was twenty one months old when I purchased her and still living with  her mother and Rio was nine months old,  youngsters clean slate and lot’s of hard work and patience in training.  If you are having problems with training I highly sugest you look at the Parelli web site as they have the most equine training available online with videos available for teaching.  I find Parelli to be the best Natural horsemanship training for my horse and my donkeys as they respond positive to their training, most importantly I am safe when working with our thousand pound equines.  Let me be clear “I am not a certified Parelli instructor yet” it is my goal to some day get physically well enough to go to Parelli and become a certified instructor.  I can not share any of their training methods on how to do things as I am not a Parelli Certified Equine Specialist yet.  When I recover from the accident physically it is my goal to go to Parelli school and become a certified Parelli equine Specialist, I plan on helping horses, donkeys and mules and their owners.

Today my life is one hundred percent different that it was before April 13, 2010 when the semi truck hit the passenger door of the little truck I was riding in with my GOD mother.   Everything I do is difficult and painful; driving, walking in the grocery store, feeding my equine, caring for them, going out to eat, impossible to go to a movie and sit too long. I believe GOD will give me double for my trouble as it is written in the bible and soon my spring will come as this difficult time is just a season.  Some times I cry and get angry as I am human but I let this emotion go as it is not helping me and my family two and four legs.  I go back to the bible and this is one of my favorite verses to make sense of everything out of my control and I smile and think of all the wonderful surprises GOD has in store for me.

Positive Mind Set Is Essential To Success

My progress:

Continue working hard to regain my life before the semi truck accident in April of 2010; prayer, physical therapy, acupuncture, medication, healthy food, herbs, water, sleep, grateful attitude, anticipation of the future gifts coming my way and a detailed awareness of how precious life is.   Everything I physically do is affected and has become very difficult for me I push through the pain for my family (two and four legs) and I rest my body when it is exhausted. I remember “A Body In Motion Stays In Motion.” Pain is a mental challenge as it affects, moods, sleep, laughter, enjoyment and ability to have wisdom and confidence.  I pray every day that GOD will remove this pain and I believe soon he will.  Pain is really strong in my right hip, left hip, lower back, right side but I know GOD will heal me completely when the pain comes I cry,  blow my nose and thank GOD I am still here and that GOD let me keep my legs, and a sound mind as I had a head injury from the semi truck accident.  Going back to Harborview hospital last week for my last appointment of my kidney that had a grade V tear from the accident in April I saw a man with shorts on and a prosthetic leg walking along really good.  This brought tears to my cheeks as I know I  have no doubt this could have been me as we were traveling a total of one hundred miles and hour (both vehicles around 50 mph) when the semi struck the little seat I was sitting in.  GOD spared my legs, mind and provided so many miracles, thank you Jesus!

If you are reading this blog and you are in pain or you know someone suffering from pain do everything you can to take care of body, mind, spirit, soul and Pray for GOD, Jesus Christ to create, healing, peace, love, favor and blessings each day. Fall is in the air leaves are falling gold, red-orange and a crisp cool breeze kisses my face each morning and evening as I feed and care for my equine I am so very grateful to have this experience.  The donkeys already have their Eskimo thick donkey fur coats and I can hardly see Rocket Man’s little eyes he is snug as a bug in a rug.  Lily is growing her coat too but being the horse she is much slower than her step brothers the Mammoth donkey and mini donkey.  Most of the birds have left, wild rabbits living on are farm are digging holes to survive the upcoming winter, chipmunks are nesting and all the plants are going for a long winter sleep. 

Our winter water bucket has a built-in water heater such a blessing as it plugs into the wall (make sure the equine can not reach the cord) to prevent them electrically shocking themselves, getting cool at night now.  Donkeys,  mules and  horses prefer clean scrubbed water please remember to clean your buckets every couple of days to prevent colic. 

Positive mind-set is essential to success, always have faith, what we say and think is what we usually get in life.  Be very careful with your thoughts and words and study positive verses never stop believing in GOD as he loves to provide miracles for his children.

GOD Has The Power We All Need And Cannot Afford To Loose

 I shall receive power (ability, efficiency, and might) when the Holy Spirit  has come upon me and I shall be His witness to the ends (the very bounds) of the earth ACTS 1:8

 My progress:

Praise GOD one more miracle just for me and my family four and two legs!  I received the final test results from Harborview hospital, Seattle, WA my kidney is healed and working good.  My kidney had a grade five tear from the semi truck running into the little truck I was a passenger in last April.  After surfing the web I learned most people who have a grade five kidney tear have no choice but to remove the kidney I was blessed as the urology surgeon who worked on me in critical care made the decision “no doubt with GOD’s help” to leave my kidney.

I am very happy to report that I no longer have to go to Harborview and have radiation injected into my veins and have x-rays of my kidney to see if it is working correctly, no more stress of another surgery.  GOD has healed my kidney!  Results are outstanding my kidney is healing and I do not have to have any more surgeries!  Praise Jesus I am so grateful to GOD for this miracle of life and healing over my body and for my family, two and four legs.

We received another miracle as my step daughter and her boyfriend were riding an ATV together and fell off a mountain in Montana.  We had about two and half hours of not knowing if our daughter was going to die, be in a wheel chair for life and we had no idea about her boyfriend as they are not married and we could gather only limited information.  Scot and I immediately asked for prayer from our group of friends who believe in healing and Jesus Christ to place his hand over these young adults.

We began  to pray “Father GOD you have the power to take care of your children please let no serious harm come to our daughter and her boyfriend, please open the doors for the best doctors to be available and have wisdom for healing for each doctor that touches them.  After waiting and praying for a couple of hours we received our miracle as both were not wearing helmets and they are going to be just fine.  Our daughter had lost a few teeth and a fracture in her back. She was bruised and nothing broken truly a miracle.  Our future son-in-law had a broken femur they are both in their twenties so healing will be much faster than for me as I just turned fifty.  He was able to go home in less than a week and is walking using the walker “praise Jesus” our prayers were answered.

This reminds me of the verse in the bible whoever says to this mountain, be lifted up and thrown into the sea and does not doubt at all in his/her heart but believe what he/she says will take place; it will be done for him.  MARK 11:23.  I submitted my life to Jesus Christ when I had the spinal cord tumor, the tumor had three of my lumbers and the surgeon who only operated on brain tumors and spinal cord tumors had no idea what was on the MRI.  Both my husband and I feared I would be permanently in a wheel chair or worse that I had cancer and it could cut my life out completely.  The elder from our local church came and spoke words of moving a mountain, she said as she prayed over me that “When the surgeon opened my spinal cord the tumor would dissolve like a balloon and no cancer would be found.” When I woke up after surgery the surgeon said to me “I have been doing these surgeries for over twenty years I know what a blood tumor looks like, when I touched the tumor it dissolved like a balloon and he shook his head, he said this is a miracle”.  If the elderly lady who spoke faith into moving my mountain had not used these words fear would have been the only words I could hear in my head, I believe GOD sent her as my human angel to give me peace and faith before the surgery.  I share this story to help you, our mind and our tongue is very powerful what we think, say and write down is what we get out of life.  In fact I wrote this blog three weeks before I had the final kidney radiation test result.

Yes, sometimes prayers are not answered but GOD always gives his children double for our troubles when we stay in faith with him always.  I have had times in my life when I have spoken faith and not received my miracle I understand that we don’t always get what we ask for.   I know GOD walked with me and GOD gave me favor each step I took during the semi-truck striking the vehicle I was riding as a passenger last April.  The verse in MARK 11:23 NIV bible is talking about our personal mountains in life that we must climb and speak faith into and remember we are children of GOD almighty “the alpha omega, beginning and end.” Nothing Is Too Big For Our GOD.

My weeks are filled with praising GOD, telling everyone I meet how GOD gave me the miracles of life and healing.  Taking care of my body by attending acupuncture, doctor appointments, going to the gym twice a week, massage, physical therapy and believing GOD will give me double for my trouble as I am a child of GOD. I am not a victim, I am a victor this pruning I have received will produce great fruit for Jesus Christ and his kingdom.  I  share my life story of how GOD has given me beauty for ashes over and over again in my life.  Today I am fifty years old and I look forward to the next fifty years as GOD will give me wisdom to stay healthy and strong into my 100’s.  I visualize the day I can be strong enough to carry my saddle and swing it over my horse again and take a ride in my arena.  Remember any serious mountain (problem, stress, money, sickness, strife) GOD can remove the mountain and give us peace.

I am so grateful to GOD for all of my blessings and healings!  I am so excited to get well and I will get well again and ride my equine and I look forward to hearing from you when GOD gives you a miracle.  If you need help with prayer please send me a message I am honored to pray with you.

Searching For Hay With Low Sugar For My Horse, Donkey or Mule

What Can I Do To Help My Donkey, Horse or Mule (equine) To Prevent Laminitis (sugar diabetes) in equine? Never feed alfalfa hay as this hay is too high in sugar for Donkeys, mules or even horses that are easy keepers.

For almost ninety days while I was sick from the accident Rio and Rocket Man were not put out in their paradise paddock; brush and trails hardly any grass, lots of  hills and stumps to eat.  Additionally Rio and Lily did not get exercise in the arena.  Rio put on some excessive weight as Mammoth donkeys can put weight on fast, they are easy keepers.

Everything I have researched and learned I have shared to help you and your equine, remember we can all help one another.  As it is my desire in life to share information via the tools GOD has given me.

The most important thing we as equine owners can do is educate ourselves try to understand that not all grass hay has the same amount of sugar and nutrients.  Hay is not just hay in fact I have learned the most yellow clean hay can turn out to be almost double the amount of sugar of green orchard hay. My belief was; dark green is deadly in sugar “hay can not be looked at to determine the amount of sugar it must be analyzed.”   Most of my research is from http://safergrass.org/ and I have referenced others below.

What Can I Do To Help Prevent Laminitis In My Equine And/Or Help My Equine Suffering From Abscesses, Colic, Laminitis?

 Work with your Veterinarian take digital x-rays of the coffin bone and if necessary blood test, knowledge is power.  This is really good to have a base line to work with over the years you will spend with your equine partner.

1. Get yourself a really outstanding trimmer have your Vet explain how to trim correctly to the farrier with the digital x-rays.  Keep their feet balanced and trimmed at 5 week intervals, better to have not much to trim than quarters breaking off and abscessing.  This helps prevent abscesses, shoulder problems, back problems and saves you money
2. Keep your equine in a controlled environment when eating a dry paddock with a Paradise paddock setup works the best
3. Exercise Is Medicine For The Equine & The Human
4. NEVER purchase hay with fescue in it EVER
5. Before purchasing your hay for the year ask for a handful of the hay and send it off to a lab for analysis.  Ask the hay vendor to hold your hay for a couple of days before purchasing for the year.
6. After you get your hay analysis back from Equi-analytical by e-mail in one day or regular mail.  Make sure the ESC (Simple Sugars) is below 10%.  Any hay above 10% is too high in sugar.

My equine is perfect why should I care about sugar in my hay?

The equine can go a very long time with no problems and than one day fat deposits, abscess, colic, laminitis and more.  We wonder what happened as everything was wonderful yesterday.  Ignorance is  not bliss when our equine are hurting and can be forced to be put down early due to eating too much sugar remember information is powerful share it with your friends. It is my hope by sharing this information and you sharing this information we can help all the equine live in optimum health.

I visualize the day when I can swing my leg over my horse and Mammoth donkey again I live by faith not by sight 2 Corinthians 2:5.

GOD Sent Me Angels

My progress:

I am just a person I shall live by faith HABAKKUK 2:4 NKJV

I am so very grateful to GOD for allowing me to stay here on earth a while longer with my husband and family two and four legs.  My personality is AAA and probably one of the most difficult things I struggle with in life is patience for me.  I have the ability to be patient with my equine, dogs and even my two cats I rescued and who seldom let me pick them up.  Sadly I have a very difficult time with patience for myself my favorite saying has always been “aim high and you will land somewhere close to your goal.”   I truly understand that GOD has total control over my life and I am grateful I learned this lesson before the car accident.  When the car accident unfolded I began to pray for GOD to create a miracle of healing for me, for GOD to surround me with his love and healing and to surround me and my family (two and four legs) with his protection.  Not once did I submit that GOD could not heal me as I know GOD has his hand on my life and I know GOD provides miracles. 

I know GOD loves to shower his children with every need they have and I know GOD loves to create miracles especially when he knows the person he creates a miracle for will give GOD all the glory and share the miracle.  I know I am the apple of GOD’s eye and I know there is nothing GOD will not do for me as he is the alpha omega, beginning and end of all things in this world.  From the very beginning of the car accident I understood that I must share the miracle of life that was created for me and my family and all the angels GOD sent to heal me.

Before I submitted my life to Jesus Christ I was always depending on myself to solve my problems.  I am not able to find the right people on my own to heal my broken body as I am stricken with fatigue and inconceivable amounts of pain.  I am not able to make the best decisions without prayer and listening to my feelings and thoughts that GOD puts in my mind.  If I rush into a decision I generally make a poor decision, this is why it is very important to trust GOD and talk about the good things in our lives not just the bad. 

Have you ever noticed how most people will take the time to write a bad review for a customer service gone wrong but they seldom take the time to write a good review?  Positive feedback is more important than negative feedback as each one of us can become a human angel using our gifts to help another human and animals in need.  “Remember a kind word and the special free gift of time is very important to help another person and become an angel for someone.” Seems the world we are living in today is connected via electronic devices but people need to see us, feel us and have a hug never forget that you can be a human angel to someone and make the difference between giving up and persevering.  Humans need humans this is how GOD made us to help one another and the bonus when you become a human angel to someone you heal your inside and feel better about yourself.

GOD has provided me with the most passionate, precious angels in human form; my best friend and husband, a hand full of very close friends, medical doctors, physical therapists, equine doctors, dog doctors, acupuncture, internist and the last human angel is a young woman who is a licensed massage therapist.  She comes into my home two times per week right before I go to bed and works on my body to move the scar tissue and help me heal and sleep better.   I believe she is a human angel sent directly from GOD just for me and I believe that she is learning that GOD does provide miracles today.  Having the massage therapy is very painful and very difficult but so very necessary and this really helps me to relax before bed.  I am grateful to GOD as I have been provided with all the right people to help me heal as GOD is in total control.  Twenty seven doctors worked on my body to heal me after the semi truck hit the little truck I was riding in.  The ortho pedic surgeon who performed the surgery to install three large screws in my shattered pelvis a very difficult surgery, as each screw is threaded around my spinal cord.  The surgeon is not only an expert in this surgery but a professor who teaches how to do the pelvis surgery and the bonus he grew up with horses.  Another human angel GOD sent just for me! He told me that I would ride my horse and donkey again if I did everything he said and did not get in a hurry.  Most difficult medical order he gave me was to have no weight on my right leg until the x-rays showed enough healing and support of the three screws surgically placed in my pelvic bones this took almost three months. Patience and waiting was the hardest part as I wanted my life back yesterday after all I have waited thirty four years to get my horse and donkeys home.   

Submitting to GOD makes life easier:

This little book is organized in a way that makes it very easy to read GOD’S word from the bible for all of life’s trials i.e., fear, anger, worry, anxiety, fear, faith, protection,  healing, stress, taking care of your body and much more.  The bible can be difficult to interpret as it was written such a long time ago, I find this little book helps me to understand what GOD has to say about this journey we are all on called life.

Life is fragile and precious – June 2010

God is great! 

Here is a photo of my dogs, my God mother’s dog and my cats mothering me!  Every time I was moved in the wheel chair from room to room the animals would follow me.   When we trust God he provides exactly what we need, God loves to make the most difficult of events more pleasant.

June has been a month of hard work for me and more pain than any human should have to endure.  I suffer from chronic sharp pain in my right side where the drains were installed to save my life as I was bleeding internally.  I attend Physical Therapy three times a week and working hard to get out of the walker and grateful I have moved out of the wheel chair.   My road to recovery is going to take a long time, I pray God will heal me and let me go back to work with my equine again but I realize this will take a very long time.  My right hip hurts as I am doing more walking with the walker and my nights are filled with sleepless nights I am very grateful to be alive and have Gods mercy, grace and most important miracle of healing over my body and life.  I have a very hard time getting a deep breath as my lung collapsed and I have 25 % scar tissue damage I continue to believe in healing from Jesus Christ.

Soon it will be time to get hay up for the year and this year we are paying the hay vendor to deliver and stack in the past Scott and I did it all but now things have changed.  We recently had to hire  landscapers for my flower garden we thanked God we had the money in savings as this was another bill not planned.   Working in my garden was one of the most rewarding and challenging things I have ever experienced.   I have a sign in my garden “One is closer to God in a garden than anywhere else on earth” I believe I am just the caretaker of the garden.  God makes everything grow not me.

During this difficult storm in our lives we find ourselves letting go more and thanking God for the blessings we have as life is short and we must savor every minute of every day as you never know when your time is up.  For us heaven is the only place we want to go when we leave this human body, let me be clear I am in no hurry to go to heaven but I choose to go to heaven when my time is up. 

One of the things that has helped me endure the physical, emotional and mental pain is out of my NIV  bible. 

The Armor of God – Ephesians 6, 10-18

Finally, be strong in the Lord and his mighty power.  Put on the full armor of God so that you take your stand against the devil’s schemes.  For our struggles is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of the dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 

Therefore put on the full armor of GOD so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 

Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace.

 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.  Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the spirit, which is the word of God and pray in the spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests.  With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding and he will make your paths straight

In times of great unknown it is only normal to worry as we are human.  We wish we could go back in time and change some things to make the bad event go away.  God wants us to trust him in all things good and bad as he is our heavenly father and we are his children.  Remember each of us is the apple of God’s eye, each of us no matter what we have done can be washed whiter than snow when we repent to Jesus Christ and make him our lord and savior.  Get into a strong christian support group start studying your bible as it is still the best book you will ever read.
