"Horses Dream Of Being Trained The Way A Donkey Demands To Be Trained" Melody Johnson

Building A World-Wide Education Center For Donkeys, Mules and Horses

Friends of the Donkey Whisperer Farm,

My husband and I took a leap of faith to start the Donkey Whisperer Farm, LLC business, purchase land, trust GOD to help us navigate all the obstacles needed to build our new farm and our new home. Actually our last home as we are in our mid fifties now.  It’s really bizarre to realize that this is our last chance, last opportunity to make our life be what we have both dreamed of having our entire lives.  My husband and I love to fish and GOD gave us land walking distance to the Dungeness river. GOD is amazing!

Purchasing twenty acres with two pear trees, one apple tree and irrigation on it takes faith that GOD will provide what is needed to build our new farm and our new home.  My husband and I have been working very hard to get the site plan finished, coordinate with our architect to build our custom one story home.  Each detail must be planned for the future as the screws in my pelvis will never come out and as I age the pain I endure from the nerve damage and my spine will increase. Select GOD created a miracle for me to read more about the semi-truck accident.

Select Donkey Whisperer Farm to see what our business is all about.  Perhaps you would like one of our hand-made art metal signs a replica of Rocket Man sitting down. Each is made in Kingston, WA by a local artist and a beautiful reminder to stay On Donkey Time, take life slow and easy. Great present for yourself or a friend, family member.  I have sold a few of these since Christmas and not one has been returned you can hang or stand them up inside or outside.

Our 20 acres of land with irrigation to grow 10 acres of orchard hay. Well is getting installed.

We will be living in our 5th wheel while our new one story home is built so the new barn needed to have a place to wash our clothes and few other amenities.  Stay tuned as I share what GOD has created to help us survive with a life long disability after surviving a life threatening semi-truck accident while riding as a passenger when the driver ran a stop sign.  Saying Goodbye to our farm of thirteen years will be easy considering where we are moving, leaving my plants, I was a master gardener before the car accident, will not be so easy.  The bible says to never look back and this is exactly what we will do, I pray the new family who gets to live in our beautiful home and farm on five acres in Kingston, WA will take care of the house, farm and my plants/flowers.

When Fear steps in (False Evidence Appearing Real) we keep crying out to Jesus and believing he will make all crooked roads straight. GOD is amazing and he has never ever forsaken us. This does not mean we get everything we want, far from the truth but we are excited to share that we are moving into our new farm this spring and living our dream of real farm living. Stay tuned for what GOD does next.

We could do none of these things without Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior and we are excited to see what GOD does next.

Hey Melody! Looks like things are moving right along for y’all and I am so glad for y’all! April isn’t that far away and it looks like you guys are into.good weather now too. If we could just get a few more days of 50 degree weather to melt the snow we would be all set but it is cold and rainy today and it will freeze and we always, without fall, get snow on St. Paddy’s day. My back is doing a little bit better. Not much pain anymore. But I have been referred to a pain clinic at our hospital and I go in May. We got our car. It’s over 10 years old and has low mileage and she runs good and gets us from point A to point B so I guess that’s all that matter, right?ツ So I hope you are doing well and have a great weekend. Talk soonツ

      Hello Heather,
Never give up, trust GOD for all things he knows what is best for his children. We are having a hard time getting our stock water permit in Sequim, Washington from the Water Mitigation but I believe GOD will take care of this road block too. Sequim, WA is a farming community and I can’t get my barn permit until the water rights people do their job. Nothing in life is easy that is wonderful. Free stuff is not free.

I pray your pain is manageable as mine finally is. You and your family are in my prayers. Melody
