Friends of the Donkey Whisperer Farm,

Did you know donkeys evolved from the desert? Donkeys can’t eat rich feed? Donkeys will abscess, founder and get laminitis from alfalfa or too much green grass, people food human deserts, and giving grain when not working hard?

Yes it’s true the donkey is a very special equine as GOD created the donkey to live on very little protein and sugar. So please do your research before feeding and caring for you donkey. If you do this your donkey will live a long life of thirty to fifty years. Yes donkeys need to be in our will like a parrot.

Yes, I got my donkey from the desert. Wild as wild can be. She is now one of the stars of our ranch. The way she protect our goats is amazing. I hope I have her until I die. Who else would wake me if feeding time is delayed?
