Select The truth about purple lady bugs in HI

Lady bugs are not just cute and sweet looking they are incredibly hard-working to remove aphids and more from our precious plants in the garden. Nurseries sell them, these are a special treat to give the grand children to open the box and let them fly in the garden. Make a wish!

Our new farm has lady bugs flying around our fruit trees all day long. GOD has blessed us with our new land.

Thank you Jesus!

How to keep your ladybugs?

Insecticides will kill ladybugs the same as they will kill harmful bugs. Place shallow bird baths near your garden, ladybugs need to drink too. You can also build ladybug houses to provide shelter for your ladybugs.

When you receive your ladybugs, place them in the fridge for a six to eight hours.  The cool temperature will slow the ladybugs down. Open the container and let them awake for a few hours before letting them go to do their job in your garden.

Most important release at night! Dusk is the best time to release ladybugs as, again, they will be likely to fly off. Release them near the plants and water source.
