I can choose to control my attitude
Life is a funny thing we all start out in this world with the same amount of time. We all start out as kids dreaming of what our life will be when we grow up and then one day we wake up and we are adults living a life that we worked hard to build, trauma steps in and we lose our loved ones you get the picture. Or we are living a life we just let happen! I have learned in my fifty-four years on this planet that our attitude is number one in how we interact with others i.e., animals and humans. Set clear boundaries with others and when they cross the boundaries I set for myself talk to the person and try to create peace. If the other person wants no peace I walk away and dust off my feet as the bible states enjoy this life GOD has given me. Why? Life is too short to cry over something we can’t change. We can only change ourselves not other people including our children, step children, parents, neighbors etc. We are called to be peace makers but when people take advantage of us it is time to say enough is enough and speak up. Saying goodbye to people we have had in our life for thirty or more years is not easy but boy is it better than enduring the continued abuse or taking advantage of us. I treat people how I want to be treated and if I do not receive back what I put in I know I am not important to the person. So as I stated above I pray for the person and I remove myself from their life.
I love to garden, if I keep putting poison on my plants they will wither and die. The same goes for us, if we keep letting someone hurt us physically or emotionally in any way the poison will destroy our destiny and joy. After the semi-truck accident I survived I lost friends of over thirty years, not my choice their choice. Why? They did not behave in a way a friend should behave and I had to walk away. Was I hurt yes but today I can say thank GOD I had the courage to end the long time relationship as I am closer to Jesus and I will be much more careful who I let into my life again as a friend.
Have you ever walked into a room with a person who is negative?
I swear you can feel the tension in the room and for me I just want out. I do not like being around negative people and I would much rather spend my time all alone in peace and quiet with Jesus Christ and the gifts he gave me my husband and animals than to spend time with a negative person. The negative person is not hating me they hate themselves and their energy is sucking energy out of me trying to help them. I pray for these people and I do my best to keep visits short. Why? Negative people destroy us positive people as they hate us.
Why do they hate us?
We are moving and dreaming and they are stuck. The next time you are with a negative person pray for them, try to have empathy and keep the session as short as possible. The other thing I do is bless them with whatever I can, food, help with a problem as the bible states we are to help one another, it takes Jesus Christ to be nice to a person who has intentionally hurt me. My flesh wants to get even return the pain, this is not what we are to do when we are children of Jesus Christ, we are to pray and give love to the hurting and lost as guess what? You may be the only light in this persons life.
Think about your word as it is the only thing you have that is worth much today, treat others how you want to be treated
Remember you can choose to be happy or sad this is 100% in your control no matter what you are experiencing at this very moment in you life.
Do you need prayer?
Select the 700 club as they have prayer warriors ready to pray with you for free, I know as in my darkest hours I called for prayer many times I am very grateful to these people at the end of the phone line. If you are tired of being in the same place you have been forever ask JESUS CHRIST to come into your life and make him your Lord and Savior. JESUS will help you learn how to enjoy your life and stop negative behaviors for you. GOD is not santa but he is our heavenly father in heaven and he has counted every hair on our heads. GOD has a bigger plan for your life than you do.
A happy heart is good medicine and a cheerful mind works healing, but a broken spirit dries up the bones PROVERBS 17:22
Pleasant words are as a honeycomb, sweet to the mind and healing to the body. Proverbs 16:24
I will serve the Lord my GOD, and he will bless my bread and my water and take sickness away from me. EXODUS 23:25
I will reverently fear and worship the LORD and turn (entirely) away from evil. It shall be health to my nerves and sinews, and marrow and moistening to my bones. Proverbs 3:7-8
I will have balance in my life because GODs word states that if we are not well-balanced we open a door for Satan to come in and devour us. 1 PETER 5:8
GOD bless you and your family two and four-legged!
