Pacific Northwest Equestrian Farm On Five Acres, Six Garages and 3 Fireplaces

Pacific Northwest Equestrian Farm On Five Acres, Six Garages and 3 Fireplaces

Friends of the Donkey Whisperer Farm,

Ready to move to 26695 Trophy Lane, Kingston, WA?

We are selling our home and equestrian farm of fourteen years with Better Homes and Gardens. I was a master gardener who loved to landscape and grow unique flowers in my garden, most of the flowers, trees, bushes I planted enticed the wildlife to come in. Golden Finches, Owls, Blue Jays, Wood Peckers, squirrels, chipmunks and even baby wild rabbits. Oh how I loved the wild life and the quiet sincerely a total oasis. This was our home and a gathering place of family, friends, and beautiful memories as this home was a diamond in the rough when purchased in 2001. We worked very hard on this home to turn it into the beautiful turn-key equestrian farm it is today, every year was a new project.  Now that it is finished we have moved onto a larger farm as we have eight equine now, five acres is not big enough. The Trophy lane home was constantly full of family, friends gathering with the beautiful gardens, equestrian and car, r.v., toy lover’s dream, not to mention your own private camp fire for the kids and family camping fun without camping. Most of the plants were purchased with great thought and detail as I loved to take classes and purchase plants from Heronswood nursery in Hansville, WA just minutes from this home. This nursery was one of (select) Martha Stewarts favorite places to go and of course mine. Flowers bloom ten months out of the year, most came from Heronswood nursery in Hansville. Martha Stewart would fly in her private helicopter to see these world-wide exotic plants at Heronswood’s.  I loved going to this nursery as it was always an amazing adventure to plant a new plant. Today Heronswood is owned by the Port Gamble S’Klallam Tribe I believe they have weddings here and tours still as it is a magnificent place.

Hubby Scott ensured the generator was wired to run the refrigerator, t.v,, computer, lights, propane fireplace(s) fan so we never suffered one second when the power went out. The living quarters above the carriage home has two professional series propane fireplaces with serious fans to blow the heat, much cheaper than electricity. The video camera’s we installed in the barns and around the house send an alert to our smart phone whenever anyone comes on the property, peace of mind. My horse and donkeys are part of our family so this was my solution to taking a vacation, cameras! When we left to Hawaii or out-of-state I never had to worry about the caretaker feeding our animals.  Each time the caretaker/house sitter came in I received a text with video so I could rest and know my animals were being taken care of. These video cameras are on our new farm too in Sequim, WA. It is much cheaper to pay a person to house sit and feed all of your animals than pay to stay at a boarding facility or doggie daycare and my animals were much more relaxed to stay home. Video surveillance provides me peace of mind to take a vacation and if I needed to run errands I always could check and see live how my equine were doing. When I planned the gardens and carved each one out I also placed each water faucet everywhere you need to water without hurting your back dragging a hose. If you do not want to maintain the perennials, lilacs, roses, rhodies, hydrangeas, peonies, and more you can hire a professional landscapers to manage for you as we did after the semi-truck accident.

Income Potential

The Trophy lane home is unique as it is permitted for four bedrooms and has all the plumbing installed for four bedrooms. Easily convert the first garage into a studio apartment and rent it out is one option.

Second option of income potential is; Boarding horses! If you do not want horses you can easily get boarders to pay you for the use of the pasture, stalls (two twelve by sixteen) with tall roofs to let the heat out and not worry about your beloved equestrian hitting his/her head on the roof or light socket. Covered space for grooming, saddling, farrier, dentist as electricity and water is all ready for grooming and vet at the stalls. Owning horses is a luxury item and so is having six garages and three fireplaces.

The Trophy lane equestrian farm is 100% private and gated so no one can come on your farm without your permission, a luxury item in these days of stress. The six garages are wonderful as you can purchase your hay once a year and store all your hay in a dry storage space without having to keep buying and introducing new hay to your horse. Additionally the carriage home has another space under the 1560 square foot deck to store things and a gravelled place to store a tall motor home or tall 5th wheel, this makes eight parking stalls.

Every window in the front of this carriage home has a view of your horses, donkeys or mules and your private arena built to never flood by Painted Valley, Poulsbo, WA with drains. I used this arena to jump and train and it was wonderful as I had total privacy.

Are You Looking For A New Relationship With Your Horse, Donkey or Mule?

Friends of the Donkey Whisperer Farm,

Happy first day of spring!

Soon summer will be here would you like to do more with your horse, donkey or mule than feed them and watch them?

I am here to help you move past fears you may have and give you the tools you need to be a great leader using resistance free methods. I am here to coach you to have the donkey, horse or mule relationship you have always dreamed of and the best part is I am not expensive. I train you via the computer and you work with your equine two or three times a week no more than fifteen to thirty minutes.  I coach you once a week for forty-five minutes and you go do the custom home-work as each person has unique training and dreams for their beloved equine. That’s it! Quality training is the best not drilling and fighting with your equine.

The photo above was taken of me riding my horse before the semi truck accident in our arena just built-in 2009.  Notice Miss Lily is calm her head is a bit lowered and she is waiting for me to give her he next cue of what we are going to do as I am the leader.

After the accident select GOD created a  miracle for me I spent three years in physical therapy and no one rode my horse and mammoth donkey.  Training is not all about riding it is about each time you enter their space. Little things make a big difference during feeding time to ensure we keep our leadership role using resistance free methods. After three years I finally had my chronic pain controlled and I could get back on.  My horse and mammoth donkey never forgot one thing I taught them. Why? I taught them and I continued to stay in the leadership role with them along with giving them things they enjoy doing.

“I am a world-wide virtual coach, consultant and trainer of humans  for their beloved equine. All animals learn faster and retain the new training attributes trained by the human who loves them faster than shipping off to a stranger who only looks at the business side of training the equine.  We must remember donkeys, horses and mules have the ability to seek out danger in less than a second.  Sending them off to a trainer is stressful number one and some not all but some trainers use horrible tools to train that they never tell you about.  This business of training your beloved equine is just that business.  Yes good trainers are out in our world still but you must be careful. If you send your equine off to a trainer I would demand a video camera to be in place at all time (nanny cam) to ensure my equine is being treated the way the trainer told you he/she would train.”

All of our equine; donkeys and my horses comes running to me when I call them including the equine that do not get to live with me yet. We are moving to the new Donkey Whisperer Farm, LLC in Sequim, WA soon.  I will be bringing home Obo & Tuba two feral standard donkeys living on ten acres.  My new horse Miss Trophy comes running to me when I call her on her ten acres too. She is no trained to ride yet.  If your horse, donkey or mule will not run to greet you this is a relationship problem.

Benefits Of You Training Your Equine

1.  Your equine has less stress as they get to stay home and learn from the human who loves them.

2.  You save money, sending your equine off to a trainer is very expensive;  boarding, hay, grain, cost of the trainer, farrier, vet.

3. When the equine comes home usually within weeks the training is lost. Why? You did not train and the equine does not look at you as the leader in fact in some cases they are hurt you sent them away to a stranger who did bad things to them to get them to lower their head and become a prisoner.  Old training techniques are still being used today and they are not pretty. I will spare you the details if you want to hear about them personal e-mail me.

4.  You have total control over what is happening with your donkey, horse or mule; I have five donkeys and two horses

5. After you successfully train your equine you will have a life long relationship placing you in the leadership role with resistance free training techniques. Your equine will never forget what you taught them vs another stranger who is in this for the money and has no emotional connection to the equine.

6. When you are finished training your donkey, mule or horse (training and balance continues on every time you step in the barn) this will flow into the rest of your life as you will be more balanced to say No to people who are trying to take advantage of you.

7. All animals bring emotional balance and peace to us humans. A 1000 1b equine will bring it much quicker as we must learn to be plugged in, put our cell phones on vibrate for emergency, forget about the job, family, any stress and live in the moment. This is a wonderful place to be in this fast paced world we all live in.

If you are interested in a free half hour consultation with me send me an e-mail at Melody@donkeywhisperer.com and go to my website Donkey Whisperer  take a look at the testimonials as I have helped people in France, Norway and all over the U.S.A. Ten lessons with me and you will be on your way to a new world with your equine. Spring is here and soon summer so do not wait get on my schedule today.

I  look forward to working with you!

Pulitzer Prize-nominated journalist Dave Philipps speaks with Sally Summers to find out what is behind the American West’s diminishing population of wild mustangs.

Why is the federal government now spending millions to round up these American treasures and put them into captivity? And are some of them ending up in Mexican slaughterhouses?

Dave witnesses a Bureau of Land Management-sanctioned “gathering” of the free, wild mustangs. Is the government trying to appease local ranchers who want the land for their own use, or are the horses truly unable to survive on their own in the drought-ravaged desert?
